Cleaning out some files today, I rediscovered a old publication from Continuo Magazine, December 1997. Richard Turner and I had been asked to write an article by publisher Matthew Redsell to compliment our then new recording of 19th century American songs, “Voices That Are Gone”. It has some nice photos in it including one of Richard and myself researching at the Library of Congress with librarian Wayne Shirley.
