Double Manual French Harpsichord after Taskin 1769
by Hubbard Workshop and Larry Kent 1988, Restored and Upgraded Anne Acker 2025
$17,000
A fine example of the late 1980s Hubbard 1769 Taskin model, built in the Hubbard shop and originally finished by its first owner professional musician Larry Kent of Tampa, Fl. This instrument was a busy concert performer in the Miami, Florida area with its second owner and is now ready to get back into service. Beautiful sound and a supple responsive touch. Completely restored and upgraded by Anne Acker in 2025, including changing to double transposer, all Birkett wire, wood jacks, new register guides, new quills and dampers, plus a spiffy new paint job with elegant touches of gold. Comes with heavy duty cover.
